•          Three years for mortgage business

•          Indefinitely for pension transfers and opt-out business

•          Three years for insurance business 

These are minimum periods, during which we have a legal obligation to retain your records.

In any case, we will keep your personal data for as long as required in order to protect our commercial interests with regard to potential litigation or complaints. There is no longstop within Financial Services for a consumer to register a complaint, it is for this reason that we need to retain data.

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. We’ll comply with this request, subject to the restrictions of our regulatory obligations and legitimate interests as noted above.
